So thankful to
be with you all today!
Begin today talking with God and thanking Him.
Write out James 1:22-24 in your notebook.
For
sure, every one of us has
a mirror. Hopefully you have a scripture posted right smack in the
middle of it as you read. LOL. Many of us have several mirrors,
including
one in our purse. Why? So we can readily keep check on our
appearance.
Ever been embarrassed because someone said you had a booger in your nose or food on your face? I know… this is humiliating right? But, how many of you once you see the booger or food, would walk on and leave it there?

Think of a time that you had
a spot on the seat of your pants, food in your teeth, a zit on your forehead,
etc. What did you do? Common sense says something should be done about
the imperfection, right?
Read the
verse you wrote out again… James
1:22-24.
Remember the flower sprouts we were talking about yesterday? When first planted they are limp and weak because of why? THEY HAVE NO ROOT SYSTEM YET! What happens to those freshly planted sprouts when a rain comes? Because of their weakness... they get flattened.
Let the WORD OF GOD begin taking root in your heart today by examining yourself in “God’s Mirror.” Really look. When lined up against what you are learning from the WORD, what imperfections do you see? Talk to God about what you see. Begin doing something different starting today. Ask God for opportunities today to be a doer of His Word.

Click on the PRAISE tab above. Type in one thing that you are thankful for today. Try to make it different than any you have listed.
TARGET OF THE DAY
Begin
doing something different starting today. Ask God for opportunities
today to be a doer of His Word. Remember the details of what happens
when the opportunity comes and be prepared to share it with us! Good or
Bad!
